‘Twas the night after Christmas

I really dunno why Friendster blogging has become so f**ked up that you can not resize your font anymore. And im dealing with this blog in HTML format that I dunno how to manage it anymore. It’s been two years since I had my last HTML lessons that I can’t remember how to do it now. Damn.

Anyway, it’s a day after Christmas. Yesterday has been so busy. I and my family went to the Misa de Aguinaldo at our parish church, where I and my kuya served as lectors. After the mass, we had the traditional Noche Buena with most of our relatives from the father side. It was real fun, specially with our cousins all over the house. I ate just a bit, coz I was already full being the “taster” when the food items were being cooked. I enjoyed being the “taster”. I’d be happy if there’s really a job such as that. It’s always a treat being able to taste a little of every food to be served.

I was, for the most part, asleep on Christmas morning. I stayed up until 2 in the morning watching One Tree Hill DVDs, that’s why. You can’t blame me. The series is really addictive. I used to love Brooke, but she became bitchier as the episodes progressed. I’ve always loved Keith cuz he’s so kind. Love the steaming scenes too, courtesy of Brooke. Haha.

Ok. Enough of my One Tree Hill musings. We went to my mother’s province, Nueva Ecija, to visit our relatives there. I am not a big fan of going there, but I went with the whole family anyway. Everybody ate the food we brought there (pininyahang manok), and it was really noisy in my grandma’s house. The hubbub and the long trip made me really tired, so I just settled into reading Steinbeck’s “The Grapes of Wrath” in one of those papags in the house, and eventually fell asleep. And by the way, we got stranded in Gapan City for about half an hour due to a flat tire. Haayyy.

We went back to Bulacan today. I just slept all day because the return trip was also tiring.Okay. This day was boring. Haha.

It’s just amazing how “Boom Tarat” has become the official theme song of this year’s Christmas. GeeZ. I’m simply irritated by that song. I just hate it. Grrr. (”Tuloy na tuloy pa rin ang Pasko” is a far second, courtesy of the ABS-CBN SID).

Gain weight galore this season. Omygod. I better exercise.

Christmas this year was happy, as always. I did the most sleeping on Christmas this year, though. Hehe.

Irrelevant thought:
Yul won survivor: cook islands. Yeng won PDA. Yehey. I’m really good at betting now.
