dreo goes to hale

it’s been 4 days since i catched the hale concert in our town, but i just can’t get enough of this band.

i and my high school friend, rona, went to the venue without tickets. that’s how prepared we were. we just got caught up by our excitement that we failed to purchase some tickets early on. luckily, we got two P300 tickets. this is it!

the venue was hot and not very well ventilated. front acts were boring and redundant. the mediocrity of the dance numbers were overly obvious. rival school boys who do not have any looks and their female counterparts who were just as boring as they are performed. silly front acts. wanted to upstage them.

we were becoming agitated in our seats when a girl with a digicam came in screaming. she showed a picture of herself and champ in the backstage. she looked like champ’s maid in the picture. hehe. she just made rona be green with envy. oh well. me too. wanted to slay her for showing that picture off.

another band performs. nothing interesting about them except for the fact that their guitarists go down stage and stage a silly guitar exhibition. we wanted hale badly.

lights were turned off. darkness everywhere. i saw silhouettes rushing from the backstage door. god. was i excited? lights turned on. omni, sheldon and roll appears on stage. champ is missing. his manager who looked like a jamaican appeared on stage instead. funny scene.

champ pops out from behind. everybody screams. they sing ‘take no’. i sing along. one of the happiest moments of my hale life.

they go on singing various songs from their album. an idea occurred to me to gatecrash the P1000 spot. gatecrashing a success. proceeded right infront of the stage. boy. im a hale fan.

almost died when the band played ‘fix you’ by coldplay. waaaah. one of the nicest song renditions on earth. made me melt.

hale sings their last song ‘kahit pa’. savored the last few seconds. rocked the house down. when the band left, rona told me she wanted to go backstage. people in a turmoil. access denied by the guards. how dare them.

we decided to go home. fortunately, we caught the band’s car going out of the venue. photo op. haha. ang saya. tinted car window was a hindrance. never mind.

went home with a huge smile. i love hale. i wanna see hale again. im a huge hale fan.
