Last week was a total blessing for me, having escaped the four corners of our house in Bulacan and FINALLY returning to the dorm to jump start my second semester as a freshman in UP. Though the first day of classes was scheduled on a Wednesday, I entered the dorm on a Monday, just for the heck of it. I did not quite regret the fact that I did so, because the first night in the dorm was ultimately crazy (that was expected, considering we haven’t seen each other for about a month). Everyone was so psyched up to see each other, and Kuya Wads’ (our floor R.A.) birthday coincided with our return, so we practically celebrated that day with bunch loads of kalokohans and stuffs.

The entire registration process for this sem didn’t quite turned out chaotic for me (unlike my other dorm mates who, up until now, had not yet finished enrolling yet). I finished the entire thing for two hours, thanks to the fact that im a freshman, and that I was quite lucky that time. I managed to get all the subjects that I picked in CRS, so I did not undergo the bloody manual enlistment process (good for me). The first day of classes was quite fine, though my journ100 prof did not attend classes and my SocSci1 prof was a bit boring (or maybe I was the one not interested.. hehe). Chem1 was a blast, practically because we had this crossword puzzle game as our first activity, and I know a whole bunch of people there.

The second day was equally fine. My weight training class won’t meet until December 6 due to the SEA games (haha.. one of the best news I’ve heard so far). Prof Naval of SocSci2 is awesome. It’s like reading a self-help book when you listen to him. He speaks soooo good and of inspiring stuffs. I bet Im gonna do well in his class. Also, my Eng1 prof is quite good, having the syllabus she gave us as my basis.

What really sucks this sem is that a number of people already know what my freakin GWA for last sem was. I do not like the fact that everybody’s teasing me just because of that. Oh well. Yeah. It’s something to be proud of, but Im not used to all the attention that Im getting. I just want to stay under the radar while Im in college, yun lang.   

Best moments of the sem thus far: Receiving a text message from someone really special and perceiving it as a dream.. Talking to someone I have a huge crush on and discovering she knows me quite a bit too much.. Nominating people from the dorm for eviction just for fun (together with Inang Mother, 3rd, Bret, Klif and 3stan).. Bonding with my orgm8s.. and eating a newly-cooked cheese turon for dessert (yummy.. the cheese was melting in my mouth.. yumyum,,)
